Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

G-One Transport Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle and cargo.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate transportation schedules.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo, and secure it for transportation.
  • Operate a GPS and other navigation equipment to optimize routes and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours of driving.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
