Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Load and unload goods, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, maintaining a high level of vehicle maintenance and safety.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, providing accurate and timely data.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all company policies and regulations.

Requirements:
