Job Summary

OAK & STONE CONSTRUCTIONS is seeking a skilled Telephone Network Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment.
  • System Testing: Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults.
  • Analysis and Repair: Analyze test results and adjust, change, or repair switching system, network, associated equipment, and software.
  • Internet Access Setup: Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
  • Cable and Hardware Repair: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
