Telephone Network Specialist

OAK & STONE CONSTRUCTIONS is seeking a skilled Telephone Network Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware to ensure optimal network performance.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment to resolve transmission issues.
- System Testing: Test installed telephone systems to identify and resolve transmission faults, and analyze test results to adjust or repair switching systems, networks, and associated equipment.
- Internet Access Setup: Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access for our clients.
- Equipment Repair: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to ensure network reliability.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
