We are seeking an experienced Environmental Information Manager to lead our team in developing and implementing effective data management strategies.
As the Environmental Information Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of environmental data management systems
- Ensuring data quality, governance, and accessibility
- Leading a team of technical specialists in data stewardship and distribution
- Engaging with stakeholders to promote data transparency and innovation
- Providing strategic leadership on environmental data management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, computer science, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in data management, including content development, maintenance, and enhancement
- Experience leading data specialist teams and multi-stakeholder projects
- Data or information management certification
- Experience with GIS and related tools such as PowerBI, SQL, R, or Python
This full-time, permanent position is based in Edmonton, Alberta. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week.
