Accounting Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team at Autolux Ltd. O/A Rapid City Transportation. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for verifying supplier invoices, communicating with suppliers, maintaining organized filing systems, and assisting with monthly invoicing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding any discrepancies in charges
  • Maintain organized filing systems to ensure easy access to financial documents
  • Assist with monthly invoicing procedures, including preparing and sending invoices to customers
  • Contact customers to request payment or resolve payment discrepancies
  • Perform other tasks as required within the department, including coordinating with internal departments
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1-3 years of experience with Accounts Receivables and Account Payables
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
