Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Junior Accounting Clerk. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for verifying supplier invoices, communicating with suppliers, and maintaining an organized filing system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding any discrepancies in charges
  • Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents
  • Assist with monthly invoicing procedures
  • Contact customers to request payment or resolve payment discrepancies
  • Perform other tasks as required within the department

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1-3 years of experience with Accounts Receivables and Account Payables
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
