Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor - Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor - Team Lead to join our team at Ontario Inc. o/a MacEWEN Strathroy. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff and assign sales workers to duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Order merchandise and authorize returns
- Establish work schedules and prepare reports on sales volumes and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory and manage cash
- Supervise office and volunteer staff and conduct performance reviews
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
- Fluency in English
