We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Vitesco Technologies Canada, Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control. Your duties will include preparing financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, reviewing and examining financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation, analyzing financial documents and reports, and maintaining financial records and establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of financial software, including SAP, and will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation
  • Analyze financial documents and reports
  • Maintain financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

Requirements:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of financial software, including SAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
