Job Title: MFL Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and skilled MFL Teacher to join our dynamic team at Ormiston Sudbury Academy.

About Us:

Our academy is a vibrant and high-potential school catering to 11 to 16-year-olds, with 700 students on roll. We support all staff in enhancing and developing their professional skills through high-quality programmes and regional lead practitioners, nurturing aspiring leaders with excellent opportunities for growth.

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced MFL Teacher to provide outstanding education in MFL, collaborate with the Assistant Principal to raise standards, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of student outcomes and professional development within the academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality MFL lessons using effective pedagogical approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with the Assistant Principal to support high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop and enhance the MFL curriculum and extracurricular provision.
  • Inspire and support students to achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain organized and detailed records of student progress and curriculum planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching MFL.
  • Strong understanding of effective pedagogical approaches in MFL.
  • Passion for leading successful learning in the classroom and across the subject.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
