Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Redwood Residence Ltd. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing nursing services to our residents, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosages and timely administration;
  • Conduct specimen collection, monitor nutritional intake, and take vital signs as required;
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families, promoting healthy lifestyle choices;
  • Record medication's therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records;
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing resident needs and goals;
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work;
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination;
  • First Aid Certificate; and
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
