Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel. As a Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families.

You will provide direct psychosocial care, education, navigation, and advocacy to maintain or improve the health and social well-being and functioning of patients/clients/residents and their families in the Quesnel Health Services Delivery Area.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
  • Two (2) years recent related experience in a healthcare setting working with medically complex clients with concurrent disorders, or a combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
  • Current valid BC driver's license.
