Job Summary

The Brand Field Specialist is a key role within EssilorLuxottica, responsible for promoting and selling EssilorLuxottica products within an assigned territory. This position requires a strong understanding of the company's products, services, and marketing activities, as well as excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Meet sales goals and objectives for EssilorLuxottica lens brands within an assigned territory, establishing and tracking agreed-upon KPIs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Schedule and maintain regular visits with all doors within the assigned territory, prioritizing sales cycle activities.
  • Actively promote EssilorLuxottica products through brand and category trainings, conducting needs analysis to identify training requirements.
  • Develop strong working relationships with account management and personnel, meeting with office managers to identify business opportunities and maximize EssilorLuxottica's presence.
  • Stay knowledgeable of and current with all EssilorLuxottica products, services, promotions, advertising, and competitive offers to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Provide customers with professional, personalized customer service to promote sales, increasing customer awareness and knowledge of EssilorLuxottica's brands and the lens category through approved national training programs.
  • Ensure programs are properly designed and implemented, measuring the impact and effectiveness of training (ROI).
  • Adhere to individual office policies, including dress code.
  • Conduct regular EssilorLuxottica product trainings in offices or via webinar for Account Sales Associates, Opticians, and staff, ensuring knowledge of EssilorLuxottica's products, marketing activities, selling strategies, and merchandising standards.
  • Heavy travel, 80% of the time, including overnight hotel stays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management.
  • Generally requires 3-5 years of experience in a customer service environment, with previous merchandising, training, selling, and/or retail experience, ideally in an optical environment.
  • Heavy travel within assigned territory.
  • Car and valid Driver's License required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Driven to engage with account personnel and consumers.
  • Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak/present, motivate, and coach in front of a large group.
  • Good negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all EssilorLuxottica products within assigned stores.
  • Ability to take initiative, generate creative selling solutions, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make decisions in a complex and changing environment.
  • Proficient with PC and IOS applications, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and iPad.
  • Bilingual, French and English (both spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Optical experience preferred.
  • Optician license an asset.
