Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Development Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and coordination of estimates on internal and external projects, as well as developing industry relationships and preparing strategies from a business generation and project delivery perspective.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 7-12+ years of related experience and/or training in the infrastructure sector, with expertise in estimating techniques and cost control. They will be detail-oriented and able to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

The Senior Infrastructure Development Manager will be responsible for:


  • Preparing and coordinating the preparation of estimates on internal and external projects;
  • Developing industry relationships and preparing strategies from a business generation and project delivery perspective;
  • Mentoring the team across a variety of mining and natural resources projects;
  • Attending and participating in project scope review meetings;
  • Reviewing project documents and understanding the scope of work as well as identifying any potential pricing gaps;
  • Executing material and project documents, including detailed labor and material take-offs;
  • Obtaining bids from subcontractors and vendors and strategizing with them on creating a competitive edge and award strategy;
  • Preparing cost analysis in computer by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items;
  • Informing immediate supervisors of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer databases;
  • Developing and maintaining resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:


  • 7-12+ years of related experience and/or training in the infrastructure sector;
  • Expertise in estimating techniques and cost control;
  • Detail-oriented and able to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment;
  • A strong ability to develop industry relationships and prepare strategies from a business generation and project delivery perspective;
  • An excellent track record of mentoring teams and delivering projects to budget and schedule.
