Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lifeguard (Part-time) to join our team at the City of Ottawa. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for administering policies, procedures, rules, and regulations governing the conduct of patrons using the pool, and performing rescues and first aid necessary for the preservation of life in a team setting.
Responsibilities:

- Perform rescues and first aid necessary for the preservation of life in a team setting
- Work well in a team environment
- Reliable
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement is 15 years of age
- Current National Lifeguard Pool certificate
- Current Lifesaving Instructor certificate
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates
- Current Oxygen Therapy or LSS Airway Management certificate
- AODA Accessibility/IASR Training
Language Requirement:
Varying language requirements, locations may require English only, French only, or bilingual competencies.
Police Record Check:
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check with the Police Services detachment in their jurisdiction to the City of Ottawa's satisfaction.
