Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at SOUTH LAKE TRANSPORT INC. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
- Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Operate and maintain our fleet of trucks, performing regular inspections and maintenance to ensure that our vehicles are in good working condition.
- Oversee Vehicle Condition: Regularly inspect our trucks to ensure that they are in good working condition, and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Communicate with Dispatch: Communicate with our dispatch team to receive and relay information about our routes, cargo, and any issues that may arise.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of our cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this position.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills are required to manage our routes, cargo, and vehicle maintenance.
- Team Player: A team player with excellent communication skills is required to work effectively with our dispatch team and other drivers.
