Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at SOUTH LAKE TRANSPORT INC. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
- Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Operate and maintain our fleet of trucks, performing regular inspections and maintenance to ensure that our vehicles are in good working condition.
- Oversee Vehicle Condition: Regularly inspect our trucks to ensure that they are in good working condition, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Perform Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to get our trucks back on the road as quickly as possible.
- Record and Report: Accurately record and report all cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Will train
- Valid Driver's Licence: A valid driver's licence is required for this position.
This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 40 to 50 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
