About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Cook to join our team at Rangeela Ajax. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Level of Expertise: Assistant level with a focus on learning and growth.
  • Cuisine Specialties: South Indian and East Indian cuisine.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and a team player attitude.
