We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Veterinary Helper to join our team at V&V Enterprises, DBA Clearbrook Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Helper, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our furry patients.
Key Responsibilities- Bathing and Grooming: Bathe and shampoo animals, ensuring their cleanliness and comfort.
- Cleaning and Disinfecting: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of animals treated, including their medical history and treatment plans.
- Assisting Veterinarians: Assist veterinarians with inoculation and treatment of animals, ensuring the highest level of care.
- Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies, ensuring that our hospital is well-stocked and equipped to provide the best care possible.
- Physical Demands: Be physically capable of bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) to perform tasks.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Animal hospital environment.
- Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
