About the Role

Fidelity Investments is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling our business units to make informed decisions, enhance operational efficiency, and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Interactive Data Visualizations: Utilize Tableau Desktop and SAP Business Objects to create interactive data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions using Tableau and Business Objects.
  • Integrate Data: Integrate data from Oracle and Snowflake databases into Tableau for reporting and analytics purposes.
  • Perform Complex SQL Queries: Create complex SQL queries and database views to extract and transform data.
  • Monitor and Manage: Monitor and manage the Tableau Cloud, SAP Business Objects servers, services, and processes.
  • Perform Regular Backups: Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement changes and enhancements to the Business Objects environment.
Requirements
  • Completed University Degree: Completed University Degree, preferably in the field of Computer Science or equivalent working experience.
  • Minimum 3 Years' Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Tableau/SAP Business Objects Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SAP Business Objects: Proficiency in SAP Business Objects suite (e.g., Web Intelligence, Universe Designer, IDT, Crystal Reports, and Central Management Console).
  • Proficiency in Tableau: Proficiency in Tableau tool (e.g., Desktop, Cloud, Tableau Services Manager Web UI) and deploying and publishing Tableau workbooks to Tableau Cloud.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Business Objects Certified Professional, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Server Certified Associate) are an asset.
