We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Lean & Continuous Improvement to join our team at Cascades. As a key member of our Containerboard Packaging Division, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence and sustainability.
About the Role
As a Project Manager - Lean & Continuous Improvement, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the evolution of our Lean Production System by facilitating workshops, developing dashboards, and animating daily meetings.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving in our units to improve operational efficiency.
- Participating in achieving our unit's action plan by providing support in operational efficiency and quality improvement.
- Defining and improving end-to-end operational processes through mapping and deployment.
- Ensuring the use of project management practices for the implementation of complex solutions.
- Coordinating and supporting implementation efforts and monitoring standardized operational practices.
- Evaluating and proposing recommendations to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Developing performance indicators and supporting their implementation and monitoring.
- Analyzing data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in continuous improvement and quality in a manufacturing environment.
- Green or Black Belt certification or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and mobilization skills and facilitation experience.
- Counseling role and impact with a sense of analysis, planning, and organization.
- Fluency in French and English to communicate easily with our units and partners.
