Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Coronary Care Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and a passion for delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including those experiencing acute coronary syndromes and cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Conduct advanced assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in critical care nursing.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement within the unit.
Requirements
  • Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • BScN (preferred).
  • Completion of Level 2 Critical Care Certificate or equivalent from an accredited academic institution (preferred).
  • Current/recent 1-2 years Adult Medical/Surgical experience.
  • Current BCLS certificate.
  • Current ACLS certificate (preferred).
