Liquor Store Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled Liquor Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Spruce View Liquor Store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Manage store operations, including receiving, displaying, and promoting merchandise, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with the management of team members, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Operate point-of-sale terminals accurately and efficiently, and assist with inventory management.
- Support the manager in organizing, directing, and coordinating the department to achieve budgeted goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain a high level of knowledge about products and services.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to work in the Liquor Store environment.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Must have valid ProServe certification.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Previous retail experience is an asset.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to consecutively lift 50 lbs. required for unloading pallets.
