About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team at Epic IT Security Ltd. as a Technical Support Analyst. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our network security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, network security, and software applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, and implement effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of technical issues, solutions, and user feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other technical support analysts, IT staff, and management to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on the proper use of computer systems, network security, and software applications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, best practices, and industry standards to continuously improve our technical support services.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, network security, and software applications; excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure is essential.
