About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Balmer Hotel. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
