**Job Summary**

We're seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll be responsible for coaching and developing your store team to deliver exceptional customer service and help pet parents navigate our products.

**Responsibilities**

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll:

  • Ensure all customer service standards are met by staff
  • Maintain courteous relationships within the community, including local shelters and charities
  • Manage a team of employees, including recruiting, scheduling, training, and day-to-day assignment of tasks
  • Coordinate order placements, maintain inventory, and ensure store audits and safety audits are completed
  • Coordinate minor store repairs and complete miscellaneous corporate paperwork

**Requirements**

To succeed as an Assistant Store Manager, you'll need:

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service and retail store management experience
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growth in the pet care industry
  • A strong customer service focus and ability to work well with others
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the store
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
