We're seeking a skilled Senior UX Researcher to join our team. In this role, you'll help define and build a seamless business finance experience based on deep customer insights. Your work will impact our entire product platform, from corporate spend management to access to capital.

As the Senior UX Researcher, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers across our most impactful product development initiatives. You'll bring expertise in understanding business finance teams and workflows, as well as knowledge of the Canadian financial landscape, to ensure our products meet the specific needs of Canadian businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end research initiatives to uncover user pain points, behaviors, and motivations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive research-based decisions.
  • Advocate for users throughout the product life cycle.
  • Conduct various research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Implement a UX research toolkit and stay informed on industry trends.
  • Provide mentorship to designers and product managers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UX Research or Business Finance experience, preferably in B2B SaaS and early to mid-stage startup environments.
  • Strong knowledge of business finance processes, including spend management, bookkeeping, and Canadian financial regulations.
  • Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Ability to translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Commercially focused with an understanding of the market and the business.
  • Customer-obsessed and committed to building relationships.
