Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Planning Consultant to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Wealth Sales & Service group, you will be responsible for providing expert wealth planning advice and guidance to our High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth plans for clients, taking into account their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
  • Collaborate with Investment Advisors to deliver a client-focused wealth planning experience, culminating in a documented wealth strategy.
  • Provide coaching and training to Investment Advisors to support their delivery of wealth management solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives and support business growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in wealth planning or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
  • Experience in selling to Investment Advisors or High Net Worth clients.
  • CFP designation (IQPF in Quebec) or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $145,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
