Key Responsibilities:- Develop and facilitate planning processes for forest stewardship, landscape resilience, and wildfire risk management.
- Work on projects such as Forest Landscape Plans, Integrated Resource Management Plans, Land Use Plans, Old Growth Management Strategies, Wildfire Management Plans, and Climate Vulnerability Assessments.
- Manage projects and lead diverse groups in planning processes.
- 5-8 years of related experience in the forest sector, focusing on landscape-scale forest management planning.
- Understanding of forestry GIS datasets and timber supply modeling processes is an asset.
- Background in operational forest management and/or wildfire risk management is an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to work independently and within a project team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and quality.
