About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Saw San Elzein. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with elderly, individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and dependability
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and may be required to work independently or as part of a team. You will be expected to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
