About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Saw San Elzein. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with elderly, individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to clients' homes and may be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
