About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Saw San Elzein. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Household Duties: Assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry duties.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, and reliability.
