Job Title: Senior Quantum Scientist

Job Summary: Q-Block Computing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantum Scientist to contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum technologies in sensing, communication, and computation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute complex atomic molecular optical (AMO) physics experiments in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead a small research team and mentor junior researchers to enhance laboratory capabilities.
  • Analyze data and interpret results to inform engineering decisions and stay updated with the latest research in quantum science and technology.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
  • Proven track record in experimental quantum information science, or related areas, with particular focus on atomic molecular optical physics.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, authenticity, and a sense of responsibility in all laboratory tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-moving R&D environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
