Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Sunset Market and Floral. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating our cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
- Cash Handling: Operate our cash registers, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and cleaning the counter area.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with social and labour market integration, including facilitating access to community resources and language training.
- Support for Youths: Provide on-the-job training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, as well as cultural competency training.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: An asset, but not required.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
