Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Stanford Seniors Village.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with feeding residents
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, and provide physical support as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, and report any concerns or incidents to management
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required
