As the Director of Microsoft Alliance, you will be responsible for overseeing the Microsoft relationship and business for Insight Enterprises. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to provide strategic direction to the management team.

  • Build and maintain executive management level relationships within Insight, its customers, and Microsoft.
  • Manage the sales activities of the Microsoft team and ensure revenue generation and gross profit objectives are met.
  • Proactively work to drive service level practices and develop new offerings and methodologies.
  • Coordinate activities across geos and participate in sales leadership within each geography.
  • Recruit, retain, and support the Microsoft solutions team.
  • Participate in client calls and represent Canada's requirements in the CCx and marketplace initiatives.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with other departments and represent Insight in a professional and business-like manner.

Requirements:

  • Extensive management experience within the professional and/or technical services discipline (minimum of 10 years).
  • Strong leadership skills in teamwork and communication across multiple organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of IT products and services.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution, contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and gross profit/revenue expectations.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills (French language skills recommended).
