Director of Microsoft Alliance

The Director of Microsoft Alliance is a key leadership role at Insight Technology, responsible for overseeing the company's relationship with Microsoft and driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of Microsoft business strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft executives, sales teams, and vendor management to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Manage the sales activities of the Microsoft team, including forecasting, operational efficiencies, and reviews.
- Conduct financial analysis to ensure revenue generation and gross profit objectives are met or exceeded.
- Drive service level practices and work with the services practice leadership to develop new offerings, methodologies, and best practices.
- Coordinate activities across geographies (NA, EMEA, APAC) and participate in sales leadership within each geography.
- Recruit, retain, and support the Microsoft solutions team, and participate in client calls to support the Microsoft/Insight partnership.
- Represent Canada's requirements in the CCx and marketplace initiatives, and maintain open lines of communication with other departments.
- Extensive management experience within the professional and/or technical services discipline (minimum of 10 years).
- Strong leadership skills in teamwork and communication across multiple organizations.
- Strong knowledge of IT products and services, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, and experience in strategic planning and execution, contracting, negotiating, and change management.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce results within tight timeframes, and participate in and facilitate group meetings.
