About the Role
We are seeking an ECN Coordinator to join our team at Magna. As an ECN Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing all customer, supplier, and internal engineering changes for our Dortec Newmarket location.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and manage system and engineering changes on programs from NOC/Alert/EDR through to full implementation, including all FSS suppliers.
- Ensure zero obsolescence at Dortec and suppliers, and direct customer claims if obsolescence is necessary.
- Review all new BOMs loaded into CMS for accuracy.
- Prepare and provide timelines regarding all EDRs, alerts, and ICNs to support program implementation.
- Monitor and report on all activities related to open issues and change/project implementation status.
- Identify, analyze, and prepare potential implementation risks for management and cross-functional teams on program-related issues.
- Direct all departments, including manufacturing, purchasing, program management, BOM coordinators, and materials, to adhere to the scheduled implementation timeline.
- Facilitate weekly communication meetings for all change processes and provide management updates on status.
- Create and update inventory tracking and implementation for new programs.
- Monitor and ensure customer deliverables are met.
- Monitor customer and supplier PPAPs are completed within customer requirements.
- Determine and advise on any customer alerts required.
- Perform all job functions in accordance with office/work standards (outlined in company handbook).
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace (outlined in company handbook).
Requirements
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- 1 to less than 3 years of work-related experience.
- Related manufacturing/industry experience.
- Ability to work overtime to complete projects by set deadlines.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to direct attention to multiple demands.
- Ability to handle high volumes of work.
- Domestic travel.
