Job Description

Vegreville Bottle Depot is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bottle Depot Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our depot.

About the Role

This permanent full-time position offers a competitive salary of $43,000 per year, based on 30 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have secondary school graduation certificate and at least 7 months of experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, arranging for maintenance and repair work, and resolving work problems.

In addition, the Bottle Depot Operations Manager will train workers in duties and policies, arrange training for staff, coordinate and review work, requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, and organize and maintain inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work

  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with a small team of up to 2 people. They will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
