We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at MOBIL WAYPOINT SMITHS FALLS. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations and managing a team of 3-4 people.

Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. This includes direct control of daily operations, staff management, and assigning duties. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of market research and trends, allowing them to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Direct and Control Daily Operations: Lead the day-to-day activities of the store, ensuring seamless execution of sales, customer service, and operational tasks.
  • Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and mentor a team of up to 4 employees, delegating responsibilities and tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Study Market Research and Trends: Analyze market data and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges, informing business decisions to drive growth and profitability.
  • Determine Merchandise and Services: Collaborate with senior leadership to select products and services that meet customer needs and align with company objectives.
  • Locate, Select, and Procure Merchandise: Identify and acquire high-quality products and services that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Design and execute marketing plans to attract customers, promote products, and increase brand awareness.
  • Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, tracking financial performance and making adjustments as needed to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Determine Staffing Requirements: Assess staffing needs based on sales volume, customer demand, and business objectives.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply chain disruptions, and other issues that may arise, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer
