The Facility Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the safe and efficient daily operations of Secure Energy's waste management facilities.
As a leader, you will set the culture and lead operators to prioritize health, safety, and environmental responsibility, aligning with the company's vision, mission, and values.
You will be responsible for training, supervising, and coaching your team, monitoring daily effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and practices.
The selected candidate will be required to live in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, where they will work 5 days a week, 40 hours, with potential for overtime depending on role requirements and deadlines.
As a Waste Management Operations Leader, you will oversee operational management, team leadership, customer relations, financial management, quality assurance and compliance, strategic planning, health, safety, and environmental management, as well as reporting and communication.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A minimum 5-10 years' experience in waste management facilities, industrial landfills, or pipeline operations
- A valid industry safety ticket
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to provide effective leadership and guidance to staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to prepare technical reports
- Proficient with company applications and Microsoft Office Suite
In return, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including employer-paid benefits, health care spending account, employee wellness program, employee savings plans, career progression, and a competitive employee referral program.
