Role Overview

The York University is seeking a Program Mentor to support the planning and delivery of STEM programming for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. This role involves designing hands-on STEM activities, facilitating research project activities, and delivering mentorship in the Bringing STEM to Life: Work-Integrated Learning Programs.

About You

To be successful in this position, you should be a current or recent undergraduate student with a strong understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math concepts. Previous experience working with youth and in research labs is an asset. Your excellent communication and leadership skills will enable you to effectively mentor and motivate students towards learning new knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver hands-on STEM activities for students
• Facilitate research project activities and provide guidance to students
• Deliver high-quality mentorship in the Bringing STEM to Life: Work-Integrated Learning Programs
