We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at West Coast Reduction Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial transport vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable on the road. This includes performing preventative maintenance servicing, reviewing work orders, and evaluating repairs.

In this role, you will also provide performance evaluations, mentorship, and supervision to HD Mechanical Apprentices. Additionally, you will operate equipment such as skid-steers, vacuum pumps, hydraulics, and fork loaders.

To be successful in this position, you will need a valid Alberta Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate or an interprovincial Heavy Duty Mechanic Red Seal Certification. A valid Alberta Commercial Vehicle Safety Inspection License is also required.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial fleet vehicle repairs or a similar environment/industry is preferred. You must be able to read or interpret diagrams, schematic drawings, and manuals to determine work procedures. Physical demands of the job include frequently moving, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment up to 50 lbs without assistance, and occasionally greater with assistance.

PAY RANGE: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. A full compensation package is provided, including extended health benefits and generous RRSP matching.
