Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 6-10 years of experience in commercial litigation to join our team at GPAC.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, oppression proceedings, and derivative proceedings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and admission to the Law Society of British Columbia.
  • 6-10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a strong focus on contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, oppression proceedings, and derivative proceedings.
  • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with big law firms is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
