About the Role

MEDICARE STAFFING SOLUTION INC is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
    • Administer benefits and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports and analysis for management
    • Identify areas for cost savings and implement process improvements
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Skills and Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluent in English
