About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Key Equipment Services, a division of Heritage Food Service Group of Canada. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing commercial cooking equipment, commercial gas, steam, and electric food equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial food equipment
  • Service complex equipment, providing exceptional customer service to our customers
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve service excellence
  • Participate in on-call rotation and be available to work overtime
  • Occasionally travel to work at other locations or for training purposes
Requirements
  • Education in appliance service or a related field is preferred
  • Gasfitter certification preferred or willingness to learn during training
  • Experience diagnosing and trouble-shooting commercial food equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license with a relatively clean driving record
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven
