We are a dynamic organization seeking a skilled Business Accounts Collections Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Summary:

The Business Accounts Collections Specialist will be responsible for preparing and posting customer payments, performing account analysis and reconciliation as needed, sending Statements of Account to customers, initiating collection calls of past due receivables through telephone and/or email, and enlisting the efforts of sales and other management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Payment Processing: Prepare and post customer payments in a timely manner to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Account Analysis and Reconciliation: Perform account analysis and reconciliation as needed to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Statement of Account: Send Statements of Account to customers on a regular basis to keep them informed of their outstanding balances.
  • Collection Calls: Initiate collection calls of past due receivables through telephone and/or email to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Collaboration with Sales and Management: Enlist the efforts of sales and other management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.

Requirements:

  • B2B Collections Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in B2B collections is an asset.
  • Quick Learner: Quick learner who is detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Skilled with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Education: College Degree in Accounting would be an asset but not required.
  • SAP Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP would be an asset but not required.
