Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, organize, direct, and control counting room activities
* Maintain and improve quality, profitability, and safety of services offered, adhering to production schedules
* Provide direction for sector activities execution
* Manage expenses according to budget, both labor and current expenses
* Conduct investigations, as required, in collaboration with internal or external agencies to determine off-balance and claims causes
* Participate in hiring plan for new staff and provide ongoing training to meet workforce needs
* Participate in disciplinary or grievance process
* Follow-up on productivity of different sub-sectors of the department
* Implement action plans to achieve productivity objectives
* Participate in all process optimization initiatives
* Conduct investigations, when necessary, in cooperation with internal or external agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents and improve safety procedures

Requirements:

* 5+ years' of management experience (unionized environment an asset)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

* Cash processing experience an asset
* Working knowledge of Workers Compensation reporting process
* Driven by offering exceptional customer service
