Job Overview

At Ecosystem, we're seeking a skilled Senior HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll work on innovative, large-scale energy solutions projects, collaborating with engineers and technicians to develop efficient and sustainable Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site surveys of client controls and BAS during the design phase.
  • Analyze client sequences of operation and mechanical system performance.
  • Select and size major controls devices, such as valves, actuators, and sensors.
  • Establish and document new and existing control points.
  • Develop sequences of operation.
  • Work with our Construction Manager to develop RFPs for controls contractors.
  • Collaborate on start-ups of systems and equipment, including boilers and chillers.
  • Train client staff on newly installed mechanical systems.
  • Optimize equipment and system operation for peak efficiency.
  • Monitor completed projects for energy savings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or relevant education and/or experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in control systems from leading integrators or manufacturers.
  • Experience in Building Automation Systems (HVAC).
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware devices and wiring.
  • Valid driver's license.
