Parenting Support Volunteer

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Parenting Support Volunteer. As a key member of our team, you will provide emotional support and practical assistance to families with children from birth to four years old.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekly visits to families in their homes, engaging in activities and conversations that promote healthy child development.
- Support parents in their caregiving roles, providing guidance and resources as needed.
- Collaborate with other VHA staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience working with children and families, preferably in a community or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
